Super friendly service. Our server was super sweet and fun and offered us a lot of options for the lunch specials. They have a big extensive menu which I absolutely love! It's great when a restaurant gives you lots of options. The food was absolutely fresh. It has a cute little southern feel and is decorated in red gingham style with country music playing in the background. It definitely gives that southern feel. They also bring you out a range of sauces to try if you get some chicken. I highly recommend. Staten Island definitely needed the uniqueness of this restaurant especially when the food is absolutely delicious!

Came here after going to Staten Island children's museum. The corn fritter was so good! I've had from other places where it's very dry and heavy but these were good!! It was very light, not dry or oily. Love the waffle fries! I got the brisket and it was satisfying. I've been craving for some BBQ food so this does it!

The place is like a very large house. Funky decorations make for a pleasant atmosphere. We were promptly greeted as we entered and seated at a comfortable table for our party of 3. We ordered blue crab beignets for the table. These delicious little bites were a nice starter. A nice drink menu offered a bunch of different old fashioneds. We ordered brisket, fried chicken and fried catfish. All were exceptional as was the efficient, cheerful service. I don't rate 5 stars lightly, this place deserves it!

The waitress was very nice and filled with positive energy. Their pulled pork was very good and so was their Mac and cheese.

Omg amazing food! Best fried chicken and friend shrimp I have ever had. All cooked perfectly. Crisp and tender. The manager Caitlin is phenomenal- so helpful and steered us in the right direction. The waffle was delicious and the different syrups all house made are interesting and the white peach hot honey was perfect with the chicken. The grits are delicious and creamy. The biscuits and gravy were good but a little too salty. For desert the bread pudding is perfect - moist and creamy. The banana pudding was good but a bit too many wafers for the pudding. The ambience is warm and sweet - the bathrooms clean, the music not too loud. And the portions really big!

Upon entering, greeted by a lovely young woman who seated us upstairs. She was so nice and friendly. I didn't even know they had an upstairs. Upstairs is very big and spacious. Seats the larger parties. Our server was from Kansas and she was great. She always checked up on us. Food was great! Fried chicken with the hot honey and hot sauce..whew amazing!!! Georgia Peach salad with shrimp--Soo good..and it's not 3 pieces of shrimp it was probably like 8-10 large pieces. Tried a piece of my friends steak--delish. My whole table enjoyed their meals. Ambiance gives the down south feeling for sure.
